Game Preparation
Be Prepared and Do Your Homework
During a game, you cannot expect players to execute anything that has not been covered in practice. Be sure to develop specialists, and never take an opponent for granted or go into a game "Blind." Amass as much information as you can from other coaches, game and season statistics, video and live scouting.
"Know the enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles you will never be in peril.
When you are ignorant of the enemy but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal"
Sun Tzu Wu, The Art of War, 450 B.C.
